My name is Alicia (aka AK) and I am a book-a-holic.
Since I was a kid, I’ve been in love with books and reading them. I grew up loving Judy Blume’s Fudge series, and crying over Bridge to Terabithia . Later on, I fell for J.K. Rowling’s legendary Harry Potter series, and became addicted to the world Cornelia Funke created in her Inkworld Trilogy.
Nowadays, the majority of what I read is YA (Young Adult), and therefore most of the reviews on this site are for YA books.
I started this blog in 2009. That was probably when my reading obsession hit its high and I would talk about books all the time. Finally realising my friends weren’t as enamoured with literature as I am, I created this blog.
Even though I started this blog for me, I love that I can share my opinions and favourites with the world. So don’t be shy – please feel free to peruse and interact with my posts (comments and likes always make my day brighter).
What’s something about me that’s NOT related to the Internet or books?
I’ve lived in Canada my whole life, and have been out of the country a grand total of four times… to go to the US.
I’m a full-time student still, doing my Masters in Digital Experience Innovation (marketing and graphic design).
I love art and writing. My hobbies mostly consist of polymer clay creations, jewellery design, writing a book I might finish, but probably not, and painting.
I’m currently obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Riverdale, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine and am in love with Marianas Trench and Panic! At the Disco.

My name is Yaron Levite, and for the last 3 years I’ve been pouring my life into a new novel titled THE MOHANDAS, a thriller set right in the middle of the Israeli Palestinian conflict.
