Day 02: A Book That You’ve Read More Than 3 Times

-wobbles back into the frame- pardon me… my family outings take so much out of me -tumbles over-

I’ve read a lot of books, but I often do not re-read them. Yes, I skim through bits here and there but usually it ends after ten or so pages.

I’ve read the entire Harry Potter Series twice, as well as The Mortal Instruments Series. I think the only book I’ve actually read more than three times, front to back, would be This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen:

When it comes to relationships, Remy doesn’t mess around. After all, she’s learned all there is to know from her mother, who’s currently working on husband number five. But there’s something about Dexter that seems to defy all of Remy’s rules. He certainly doesn’t seem like Mr. Right. For some reason, however, Remy just can’t seem to shake him. Could it be that Remy’s starting to understand what those love songs are all about?

I love this book. It’s fairly entertaining and a pretty light read. Granted, there are issues (Remy doesn’t seem to be capable of love, parent issues, etc., the usual Sarah Dessen thing), but I feel like a lot of the book was cute. This was my favourite book by Sarah Dessen, my second favourite being The Truth About Forever and What Happened to Goodbye coming in third. I didn’t love her other books, aside from those three. Whenever I’m in a bad mood, I tend to turn back to This Lullaby. Unlike Easy, I don’t have a billion reasons as to why I love this book so much that I’ve read it like 10 times. All I can say is that this book is my go-to book at any which time, and I love Dexter and Remy to bits ~
